What you're agreeing to

These terms govern your use of Autopay Refund — the Android app and the website at autopayrefund.com. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Autopay Refund does

Autopay Refund helps you identify UPI Autopay and card auto-debit charges that shouldn't have happened — most often a free trial that silently converted to a paid subscription — and helps you file a refund claim by submitting evidence (screenshots of the trial approval and the transaction) for our team to review and help pursue with the merchant or your bank.

Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to hold a bank account or UPI-linked payment method in India to use this service.
• You log in using your phone number and a one-time password (OTP). You're responsible for keeping access to that phone number secure — anyone who can receive your OTP can access your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when filing a claim. Submitting false or fabricated evidence may result in your account being suspended and your claim being rejected.

Refund claims — what we do and don't promise

• Each account may have up to 5 active claims at a time. You can delete a claim yourself to free up a slot.
• A claim moves through Submitted → Under review → Filed with bank/UPI → Resolved (or, occasionally, is not accepted). We'll notify you when the status changes.
• We don't charge you anything to file a claim or to use the app.
• We are not a bank, a UPI app, NPCI, or a legal or financial advisory service, and nothing in the app should be read as financial or legal advice.

Your content

You retain ownership of the screenshots and details you submit. By submitting them, you give us permission to use, store, and share that evidence solely for the purpose of reviewing and pursuing your refund claim with the relevant merchant or bank. You can delete a claim and its documents yourself at any time from the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the app for any claim you know to be false or fraudulent; attempt to interfere with or disrupt the app or its backend systems; reverse-engineer the app beyond what's permitted by law; or use the service on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. This permanently erases your claims, uploaded documents, and account data from our systems and cannot be undone. See our Privacy Policy for details on what's deleted.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that any refund claim will succeed, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autopay Refund is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any refund a merchant or bank declines to issue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
