Autopay Refund helps you file a refund claim when a UPI Autopay or card auto-debit charges you when it shouldn't have — most often a free trial that silently converted to paid. You submit evidence (a screenshot of the trial/mandate approval and of the transaction), and our team reviews it and helps pursue it with the merchant or your bank.
The app does not request access to your SMS messages, contacts, or any other on-device data — the only permission it asks for is showing you notifications.
Refund claim evidence is reviewed by our team to help file the claim with the relevant merchant or your bank. We do not guarantee a refund outcome — that depends on the merchant's or bank's own policy. Your phone number may be used to contact you about a claim you filed, and to send updates via the channels you've enabled in Settings.
Server-side data (your phone number, submitted claims, and screenshots) is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in India (ap-south-1 region). Push notifications are delivered via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics for Firebase.
You can delete any refund claim yourself from within the app — this permanently removes the claim and its uploaded documents from our servers. You can also delete your entire account from Settings → Delete my account: this immediately and permanently erases every claim, uploaded document, and account record we hold for you, and cannot be undone. Nothing is retained afterward — we don't keep backups of deleted data.
Autopay Refund is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you in the app.
